First Dance Choreography
We provide our wedding couples with a customized wedding dance choreography. During your first dance lesson you will learn 2-3 different dances that will fit the tempo of your song of choice. Depending on which dance feels most natural to you and your partner, we will move on to putting your first wedding dance routine together. Each wedding dance choreography is customized to fit the tempo and mood of your song. Also, it is going to be based on your comfort level and unique requests. From a traditional slow dance, to “The Time of My Life” wedding dance routine we make sure you are confident to rock the dance floor on that special day.
Father Daughter Dance
Father daughter dance classes are of a similar structure as the first wedding dance lessons. Starting with picking your dance and song of choice, we are then going to put a unique dance choreography for you. Whether you are able to attend each lesson together or separately, we will adjust to your schedule and fill in your dance partners’ spot.
First Dance Songs
If you are having difficulty finding the perfect wedding dance song, do not worry we have a wide selection to choose from. Most of the traditional wedding dance songs fit a tempo of rumba, waltz or foxtrot music. Those include music artists like Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble or Ed Sheeran. We also have several options for Latin dance lovers who always dreamed to “salsa” down the aisle or spice up the mood with a slow bachata dance. Whatever you envision for your first wedding dance, we will make sure to make your dream come true.

What do I need to bring for my first wedding dance lesson?
Preferably your wedding shoes and comfortable clothes. If you do not have your wedding dance shoes just yet, wear something similar to what you are planning on wearing
Do I need prior dance experience?
There is no prior dance experience necessary. Our wedding lessons are structured in a way that allows for obtaining muscle memory of the dance prior to your special day. We will make sure to adjust to your individual needs and dance abilities. Before your lessons are done, you feel confident and comfortable performing your wedding dance routine.
How many lessons do we need to take before our first wedding dance?
The number of lessons an individual couple may need before finishing their first wedding dance choreography is dependent on:
1) the vision for their first wedding dance
2) the ability to retain information between each lesson
3) the time they are willing to spend outside of the studio to practice
After your first introductory wedding lesson we will be able to evaluate your skill level and estimate the number of lessons needed to get you ready for your wedding dance. A common number for a very rehearsed wedding dance number with is between 6-8 lessons.
How should we spread out the lessons?
Depending on your availability and your wedding date, you should take lessons more consistently at the beginning of putting your wedding dance choreography together, and spread them out more when it gets closer to the wedding. You want to obtain the muscle memory of your first wedding dance early on, so that you don’t have to worry about it weeks before your wedding date. Also, if you come more consistently during the first three weeks, you will learn the dance much faster than if you spread your lessons weeks apart. The reason why is because the time between each lesson is relatively short so you don’t have to spend as much time reviewing what you have learned the last time.
Can we still take lessons if my partner leaves out of state?
Of course. If your significant other lives in a different state or a different country, you can always come to learn your first wedding dance individually, before learning it together.
